Achan's comment that the old oriental churches does not ordain more than one person- is not correct. Recently Armenian, Ethiopian and Coptic churches had ordained 5 bishops each.
I agree with Achen in that ordination service should always take place inside the church (and not in pandal) and also faithful should alone participate in it. Let all the political leaders participate in the public reception after the ordination service in a pandal. If the current churches cannot hold the amount of faithful for these events, we should start thinking about building a big cathedral at Devalokam Aramana.
Dear All It was not only the last two consecration of MOSC bishops during Didimos Bava's time,even before during Vattakkunnel Bava(mathews I) time onwards there were all illuminating,colourful ceremonies took place! Respected Achen should have brought all the issues before the synod all such issues prior to the consecration!
