Dear All
I have such similar experiences like what Fr.Koshy George mentioned in his article here!In Northern Kerala or dioceses they give prime importance to the Intercessary Prayer of St.Mary during Busmelko(kukiliyon) time!By then people/faithful come as many inside church and attend the end part of Holy Qurbana only for the sake of Intercessory Prayer of St.Mary.
This is not right for orthodox people/Faithful!This intercessory of prayer always to be conducted only after the Holy Qurbana as those faithful who were in church from the early morning who prepared themselves to participate and partake H.Qurbana must be given priority!
another thing some parishes at some places they give importance to post Qurbana Service! This is a time for Those who already participated in H.Qurbana to meditate and give thanks to the Lord!
The faithful orthodox people should give prime importance to Holy Qurbana by eliminating all those secondary activities!

Timely article by Achan who had rich experience with Vattakunnel thirumeni.Actually our clergy should be properly educated. They use to read short Sedaras .only one fourth of total Sunday attendace hear evengelion readings.i think we should cut short the initial prayers as lot of them are repetitions.again thubden readings can be summorised .Luthiniya should be a must after Anpudayone song .kukilion is given undue importance by Achans.Intercessory prayers for the needy, sick ,for the country etc should be included .This should not be done in the way some clergy manage birthday prayer and marriage prayer .Again the institution of Thirusheshippu should be discouraged. Achans post should be an eyeopener

Dear Jacob Mathew Karuvatta
Fr.Koshy George did not tell/mention that the clergy to be free as they wish to be in the world. He wanted Clergy to observe the rules of church as mandatory! He had so many writings before this which are available in MOSC book depot in Parumala!
Where he is now as A vicar,he observes all rules/ regulations of Church very promptly! What he was trying to tell here is that both clergy and laity should give PRIME IMPORTANCE to Holy Qurbana

I am fully supporting the views of Fr.Koshy George regarding the usage of malayalam rather than Suriyani in the Holy Qurbana. In my opinion, the worship should be understandable then only it reaches the God. I have seen a lot of priests using Suriyani verses during occasions like 'ദൂപകുറ്റി വാഴ്തല്‍' which nobody understands except by an expert in the language. Also we are seeing the chanting of 'ഹോസോ വബ് കൂല ശുഭ' in many occasions which seems very obscure. If we replace these words with the corresponding malayalam verses, I am sure our Qurbana will be more attractive and people can involve more into it.

i do not agree with wat the kathanar has said. it is about feeling comfortable or not. for me i just love our Qurbana. from namaskara table till tableetha, the Whole liturgy just elevate u to Our Heavenly Father. Regarding learning Suriyani .. How many words do you think dear kathanar for us to understand this Qurbana fully? It is just a few. I think we Malayalees boast that we can speak any language in the world, then why not these few words in Lords' own language?

Dear All
some people think that praising God in Syriac is the best way of adoration! The Language that Jesus spoke during his incarnation as son of man are not being a language used by Jews of this time!Where does the W.syriac language come as God's language! Worshiping God in truth and spirit, necessarily do not require a foreign language!
