MOSC Heirarchy should listen to the petition and make a wise decision regarding the Re- allotment of Parishes to Nilackal diocese.

Forming a new Diocese should be justified by various factual situations. There should be adequate reasons for forming a Nilackal Diocese too like other newly formed ones. A principle of equity must be followed. It would be necessary to ensure that the new diocese has a number of parishes matching the average in the nearby dioceses as well as that the financial strength should justify self sustenance. The no of families too should match this average. One of our greatest problem is that WE NEVER LEARN FROM PAST EXPERIENCES. It is not yet time for us to forget the creation of Angamaly East diocese and the manner in which they were struggling to have both ends meet.Fotunately, now it has been merged with Angamaly West. The no of families were around 2000 only and we were forced to wind up. We must take care to see that this will not happen to Nilackal.

Don't Fear: Trust God, Not Human Resources
Christ says, “O men of little faith! And do not seek what you shall eat, and what you shall drink, and do not keep worrying. For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek for his kingdom, and these things shall be added to you. Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves purses which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near, nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

The Lord has worked it for you. Now don't grumble any more. Concentrate on the development of the Diocese. This is the best list of churches you can get. May God bless you all. Keep away from vested interests.
